Adding a Second Row - Step 6

From here the second row is pretty much the same as the first. Notice how the twists (or diamonds) occur in a displaced patten from the twists of the first row. This is because you are choosing the alternate pair of tension ropes to pull in comparison to the first row. Always remember to pull firmly towards yourself with every weave to keep the first and second row close together (thereby giving you more room for a third row if need be)

Adding a third row is essentially the same procedure as adding a second, with some careful consideration of which ropes to use when starting the third. Leo does not recommend more than three rows of weave on a drum. Once the third row is complete, it is either time to replace the skin or undo the weave altogether and take the slack out of the verticals before starting the weave over again.
